What is the difference between MultiPlus and MultiPlus-II?

MultiPlus-II is the new generation (from 2018) with additional functions: ESS (Energy Storage System) integrated, PV inverter assistance, faster transfer (<20ms) and new certificates (G98, G99, CEI 0-21). For new systems we recommend MultiPlus-II. The classic MultiPlus is still sold for applications with simple requirements.

MultiPlus vs Quattro — what to choose?

Quattro accepts 2 simultaneous AC sources (ex: mains + generator), MultiPlus only 1 AC source. Quattro is larger (5-15 kVA), for industrial applications or with generator backup. For standard residential, MultiPlus-II is sufficient and cheaper.

How much is a Victron 5kW inverter?

An inverter Victron MultiPlus-II 48V/5000VA [#$$#]it costs approximately 8,000-11,000 RON at EcoSolaris. With Cerbo GX included, the monitoring system reaches 9,500-12,500 RON. For complete packages (inverter + batteries + panels), the price depends on the configuration.

How do I monitor the Victron inverter remotely?

Victron provides VRM Portal (free, vrm.victronenergy.com) accessible via Cerbo GX, GlobalLink 520 or integrated “GX” model. Monitor in real time from the browser and mobile application: battery status, PV production, consumption, alarms. Plus VictronConnect Bluetooth for local configuration.
