Financing Program
In Romania, several financing programs are available to support investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Here are some of them:
ElectricUp program
It aims to support micro-enterprises and SMEs in the installation of photovoltaic systems with a power between 27 kWp and 150 kWp, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles of at least 22 kW. The maximum financing is 150,000 euros, with a co-financing of 25% from the beneficiary.
EU OPPORTUNITIES
The Modernization Fund
It offers European funds for investments in photovoltaic parks and other renewable energy sources. The maximum allocated budget is 400 million euros, with non-refundable funding of up to 20 million euros per project. The project submission period was between April 25, 2024 and August 22, 2024.
EU OPPORTUNITIES
Casa Verde Classic program
Intended for individuals, it offers non-refundable financing for the installation of solar panels. The amounts allocated are up to 3,000 lei for non-pressurized solar panels, up to 6,000 lei for pressurized solar panels and up to 8,000 lei for heat pumps.
AFM
Energy Scheme - AFIR
It targets investments in the production of electricity from renewable sources, such as wind and solar, for own consumption in agriculture. Further details are available on the AFIR website.
AFIR
Energy Program – EEA and Norwegian Grants
It aims to reduce carbon emissions by investing in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. The total budget is 62,826,500 euros, and the program includes several calls for projects for various types of investments.
