🔌 Carlo Gavazzi EM330 – Three-phase smart meter
🧩 Generalities
The Carlo Gavazzi EM330 is a three-phase smart meter energy meter designed for commercial and industrial applications. It works on the basis of current transformers (CT) and is ideal for the precise measurement of the energy consumed and generated in an electrical system. (Does not include CTs)
⚙️ Main technical characteristics
Nominal voltage: 3×230/400 V (supports various three-phase networks)
Measured current: via external CTs (maximum 5/6 A in secondary)
Montage: on DIN rail, occupies 3 modules
Accuracy class: Class 1 (active), Class B (MID – optional)
Display: LCD with backlight, 3×8 digits
Front protection: IP51
📊 Measured parameters
Active and reactive energy (import/export)
Active/reactive/apparent power (total and per phase)
Voltage and current on each phase
Power factor and frequency
Peak power (demand) and total consumption
Two configurable rates
🔌 Interfaces and communication
RS-485 Modbus RTU – for integration into BMS, SCADA or remote monitoring systems
