A 48V hybrid photovoltaic system is an independent energy solution that works without being connected to the electrical grid, but can be connected to the electrical grid as well. This type of system is ideal for isolated locations, cottages, but especially for residential areas.

Description

• Solar panels: Capturing solar energy and converting it into electricity in the form of direct current (DC).
• Charge controller: It protects the batteries against overcharging and overdischarging, optimizing their performance.
• Storage batteries (48V): It stores the energy generated by the panels to use it when production is low (eg at night or on cloudy days).
• Inverter: Converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC) to power household devices.

Benefits

• Overload resistance: Can handle power peaks of up to 12.000W (engine starts, pumps, air conditioners).

• If you have a limit of 2kW from the grid, but need 4kW for a short period, the inverter will draw the difference of 2kW from the batteries to prevent the fuses from blowing.
