This 20A DC circuit breaker (circuit breaker) is a bipolar safety device, specially designed to protect the DC circuits of photovoltaic systems.
Main features:
  • Capacity: Supports a nominal current of 20 Amps, being ideal for the protection of strings of medium solar panels.
  • Bipolar function (2 poles): Interrupts both polarities (+ and -) simultaneously, ensuring complete electrical isolation of the system.
  • Role: Protects equipment (inverter, batteries) against overloads and short circuits, effectively extinguishing the electric arc specific to direct current.
  • Installation: It is mounted on a standard DIN rail, usually occupying the space of two modules in the electrical panel.
