Fronius Primo 6.0-1 WLAN/LAN/Webserver inverter
The communicative inverter for optimized energy management.
With power categories between 3.0 and 8.2 kW, Fronius Primo perfectly complements the SnapINverter generation. This single-phase device, without a transformer, is the ideal inverter for private households. Its innovative SuperFlex design offers maximum flexibility in system design, while the SnapINverter mounting system makes installation and maintenance as easy as possible. The communication package included as standard with WLAN, energy management, numerous interfaces and much more, makes Fronius Primo a communicative inverter for owners.
SnapINverter technology – Fronius Primo
The SnapINverter generation of inverters has a simple, standardized mounting system that makes installation and maintenance easier than ever. A special feature in the design of the device is that the connection area is separated from the power set compartment, both being installed separately. The remarkably light connection area and all its cables are mounted on the wall first, followed by the power stage set. The innovative hinge system makes installation and maintenance extremely easy to use.
The inverter is simply placed in the wall bracket and then fixed. This means that it is not necessary to remove the entire inverter for maintenance, only the power stage set. All cables stay in place.
Integrated data communication [#$$#]
We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a data communications package with fully integrated data logging, WLAN, Ethernet, power management, web server and a wide range of interfaces. The inverter is connected to the Internet via network cable or WLAN - without additional wiring - and offers you a perfect overview of how the photovoltaic system works. The connection to third-party components is ensured through interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON). The open interfaces can also be operated in parallel with Fronius Solar.web.
SuperFlex design – Fronius Primo
Fronius SuperFlex Design is an ingenious combination of technical performance attributes that make the design of your photovoltaic system not only extremely simple, but also incredibly flexible. The key performance factors of the SuperFlex Design are two MPP trackers, along with a high system voltage and a wide DC input voltage range. Each DC input, and therefore each MPP tracker, is capable of accommodating the entire rated output of the inverter.
Regardless of whether the inverter has to cope with different roof orientations, shading of one or two rows or the use of residual modules: a Fronius inverter with integrated SuperFlex Design will satisfy any conceivable operational photovoltaic system planning scenario using only one inverter model.
Top dynamic manager
Dynamic Peak Manager is a new MPP tracking algorithm that dynamically adapts its behavior when searching for the optimal operating point. Its special feature is that Dynamic Peak Manager automatically checks the entire characteristic curve regularly and finds the Global Maximum Power Point (GMPP), even in partial shade.
Ready for the smart grid
Fronius inverters are ready for tomorrow's smart grid. The inverters are optimally equipped to meet the technical requirements of the networks in the future. A number of intelligent functions, known as Advanced Network Functions, are built into the devices. They include a series of control functions for the optimal supply of reactive power and effective power. These functions are designed to allow the stable operation of the grid even when the density of the photovoltaic system is very high and to prevent unwanted power interruptions and associated yield losses if the grid parameters exceed the thresholds.
Therefore, Fronius inverters help guarantee the efficiency of a photovoltaic system. In addition, where supply limits are imposed, Fronius inverters can provide dynamic control of the intake, taking into account self-consumption. Just connect the meter and set the power limit!
Zero power supply
Today, an increasing number of grid operators in different countries stipulate a PV power supply limit as a precondition before a system can be connected to the grid. With dynamic power reduction, Fronius offers a solution for optimal injection management. The inverter first supplies energy to household consumers and then reduces the output power of the system to the maximum energy allowed by the network operator. With Fronius inverters, zero feed-in is also a possibility thanks to this function, which means that no photovoltaic energy is fed into the grid. The relevant requirements of the grid operator can be fulfilled by simply activating a setting on the inverter's web interface.
Active cooling – Fronius Primo [#$$#]
The active cooling technology is based on one or more fans, which not only avoid hot spots, but also regulate the air circulation inside the inverter, thus maintaining the low power electronic temperature.
